Job Summary
ISE Physical Security Generalist to support the US Space Force classified enterprise. Hands-on role focused on execution and sustainment of physical security requirements for SCIFs and other classified spaces. Reports to SSO and senior security leadership; emphasis on implementation, coordination, and continuous compliance (not program ownership). Key responsibilities include SCIF operations & compliance, access control administration, construction security, risk management, incident support, and training/audits. Must have 1-3 years of hands-on physical security/SCIF experience, working knowledge of ICD 705 and related DoD/IC policies, experience with PACS/IDS/alarm monitoring, and possess an Active Secret clearance with U.S. Citizenship. Salary range $85,000–$95,000 USD; location: Arlington, VA.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Physical Security or SCIF operations within the U.S. Defense Industrial Base or Intelligence Community
- Regulatory Knowledge: Working knowledge of ICD 705 and related DoD/IC physical security policies
- Systems: Experience with physical access control systems, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and alarm monitoring processes
- Clearance: Active Secret-level eligibility clearance. U.S. Citizenship required.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, ability to follow technical and regulatory guidance
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to read and interpret basic facility drawings and security system layouts
