Job Summary
Lead a cross-functional Reliability Engineering team to embed modern reliability practices across Markets Infrastructure Services, including governance, resilience engineering, and regulatory-ready stability across compute, cloud, Linux, network, and storage. Provide senior technical leadership as the reliability authority, guiding discovery, architecture, planning, implementation, and operational transition for complex programmes delivering Markets infrastructure and cloud capabilities. Drive proactive reliability culture with incident analysis, disaster recovery validation and risk reduction, while partnering with stakeholders across Infrastructure, Cloud, Architecture, InfoSec and Service Management to ensure stability and regulatory readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering or technical leadership roles in complex, high-availability and/or regulated environments
- Proven track record improving resilience, stability and operational performance across large-scale Linux, network, compute or cloud estates
- Experience influencing senior technical and business stakeholders
- Strong understanding of operational risk, controls, regulatory environments and audit expectations relevant to financial markets
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field
