Job Summary
Develop and implement a global manufacturing strategy that aligns with growth objectives and market demands. Optimize operations by identifying optimal facility locations based on cost, logistics, and geopolitical risks. Lead cross-functional teams across R&D, procurement, and finance to integrate supply chain strategy. Drive continuous improvement and Lean maturity initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality. Develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity and resilience. Champion servant leadership focused on coaching, mentorship, and building a strong talent bench. Travel 10-30% domestically and internationally within a matrixed environment.
Required Qualifications
- BA or BS degree in Business, Engineering or similar field
- 10+ years demonstrated experience in operations, supply chain transformation, and/or plant leadership in Manufacturing, automotive industry
- 3+ years demonstrated project management experience
- Advanced knowledge of and experience with Lean Methodologies
- Knowledge of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, Automation, and AI
- Ability to be an inspiring leader with a combination of analytic rigor, conceptual ability, innovation, creativity, mental flexibility and judgment
- Ability to engage, empower and inspire operations to achieve business results
- Experience working in a highly matrixed environment
- Ability to travel 10-30% (domestic and internationally)
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or other graduate degree
- Experience developing open lines of communication to continually push messages up and down in the organization
- Ability to build and maintain effective work relationships at all levels both internally and externally (customers, suppliers, etc.)
