Job Summary
Silfex, a leader in precision silicon components for the semiconductor industry, is seeking a full-time IS Support Tech to provide Service Desk support, assist with hardware and software issues, and enhance employee IT experiences. The ideal candidate will have an associate's degree in information systems or equivalent experience, strong communication skills, and relevant IT certifications. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs and complying with necessary safety gear.
Required Qualifications
- An information system related Associate’s degree from a two-year college or university
- 2 or more years of related experience and/or training
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Proficiency in computer applications to include Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Print Management, Microsoft O365
- Ability to effectively present information to employees and/or management
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Desired Qualifications
- CompTIA A+ Certification or Equivalent
- ITIL Foundations Certification
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to conform to PPE requirements to include steel toe shoes, high visibility vest, face mask, safety glasses and face shield when on site
