Job Summary
IS Specialist provides day-to-day IT support and operational assistance for the bank across multiple locations. Serves as the first point of contact for employee technology needs and maintains reliable, secure, and compliant systems. Responsibilities include installing/configuring workstations, managing user access, supporting core banking applications, collaborating with MSP and vendors, documenting IT procedures, assisting with BCP/DR testing, and ensuring regulatory/compliance alignment. The role requires on-site work, with potential for evenings/weekends to support system upgrades and outages. Opportunity for growth within the Information Systems department.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of IT support/help desk experience
- Associate’s degree in information technology or related field
- Experience with hardware, software, and basic network troubleshooting
- Experience supporting Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and IT security principles
- Ability to work effectively with vendors and MSPs to resolve IT-related issues
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to document procedures and explain technical issues to non-technical staff
- Strong problem-solving and technical diagnosis skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and resolve issues in a timely manner
