Job Summary
Lead Information Systems projects from start to finish, managing the complete application lifecycle including planning, development, testing, launch, and maintenance. Deliver projects on time and within budget while overseeing application management and coordinating with developers, QA teams, and business analysts. Define project scope, goals, and timelines with stakeholders; track progress, identify risks early, and create plans to address them. Manage stakeholder communications, ensure compliance with ABB standards and ITSM best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application reliability. Mentor team members and create reports for leadership. This hybrid role contributes to the Electrification and Information Systems teams in EMEA.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience managing IT projects or applications
- Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects within large organizations
- Knowledge of ITIL or similar IT frameworks
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with project tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or MyServices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or similar field
- Knowledge of cloud and DevOps
- Experience with Agile or Scrum
