Job Summary
Deploy and setup physical IS network infrastructure assets, while documenting all physical network components. Troubleshoot and resolve communication and application issues, and assist with hardware intake and disposal. Collaborate with the Information Systems Operations group on project and sustainment work, contributing to automation initiatives and evaluating AI tools to streamline network administration tasks. This 12-month term begins January 2027 with a Monday–Friday schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in your 1st, 2nd or 3rd year of a degree/diploma in Information Technology
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to produce readable, current, and correct documentation and reports
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Legal authorization to work in Canada with no restrictions
Desired Qualifications
- Previous IT work experience in the oil and gas industry and exposure to Cisco network infrastructure
- Familiarity with any oil and gas applications
- Familiarity with ITIL
