Job Summary
Review, process, and negotiate IS-related contracts while providing redline reviews and recommendations based on IS standards. Flag legal and business issues for negotiation, then coordinate document processing through internal IS and Procurement processes. Serve as the point of contact for all contractual matters, ensuring timely review, approval, and execution. Maintain contractual records in the IS Contracts Database and tracker, preparing status updates for all concerned parties. Manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines consistently while providing coaching and feedback to internal staff.
Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent
- 5 years Contract review and processing experience with substantial knowledge of legal terms and conditions, and/or experience interacting with IS vendors, solutions, and contracts
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
- Developed negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a team environment, securing buy-in and agreement through collaborative efforts
- Ability to analyze business practices and translate to contractual requirements
- Ability to understand the timing and cycles of contract negotiations
- Ability to manage a complex process with multiple stakeholders and multiple variables
- Ability to show consistent process improvement and awareness of LEAN principles
- Ability to track details and nuances of a technical vendor documents
- Fire Life Safety Training (LA City)
- Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date
