Job Summary
Maintain and repair water features and irrigation systems across Atlanta (primary) and Gainesville locations, including fountains, pumps, ponds with aquatic plants, and related installations; perform routine maintenance, repairs, and small-scale installations; troubleshoot and program irrigation timers with Horticulture team; monitor water quality and chemical balance, conduct daily testing, and keep written maintenance logs; coordinate with vendors and assist with ordering supplies; ensure safety and compliance with city/state standards; requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays; physical duties include lifting up to 40 pounds and working in various weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical School certifications and/or training preferred
- 3 years of experience in pool and/or water feature maintenance preferred
- Some electrical experience preferred
- 3 years of experience installing & maintaining intricate irrigation systems in public or private spaces. Knowledge of current industry technologies; (i.e. Central Control Systems/SMART irrigation)
- Knowledge of Conventional and 2-wire irrigation system
- Ability to read and understand maintenance user manuals, blueprints, and other written related documents.
- Valid driver’s license
- English / Spanish a plus
