Job Summary
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair irrigation systems for commercial and residential customers, including controller diagnostics and system installation. Load and unload heavy equipment such as trenchers, excavators, and skid loaders while operating company vehicles safely. Plan daily workloads, coordinate materials, and submit timesheets via Boss LMN Mobile. Maintain truck cleanliness, inventory, and adhere to safety protocols during daily start-up and shut-down procedures. Communicate progress with the Production Manager and manage on-site relations with clients and contractors. Requires valid NC driver's license, ability to lift 50 pounds, and willingness to obtain pesticide applicator license.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis
- Ability to bend and stoop on a continual basis
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Ability to work around bees, poison ivy, pollen, thorns and other environmental risks
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Must wear sturdy shoes, company uniforms, and assigned PPE
- Must present yourself in a professional, polite manner
- Must practice safety with chemicals and equipment
- Must wear company-provided eye and ear protection as required
- Must have valid NC Driver's license and maintain a good driving record
- Must be willing to obtain NC Pesticide applicators license
- Must have good communication skills and ability to motivate others
- Must comply with Bland's policies and procedures
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
