Job Summary
Perform routine irrigation inspections and troubleshoot system issues on designated commercial properties. Replace or repair components like pipes, sprinkler heads, valves, and timers while managing inventory to ensure tools and materials are stocked. Provide client recommendations for upgrades and adhere to safety protocols during all site work. Complete daily reports including property reports, estimates, and timecards. Maintain company vehicles and participate in in-house training. Requires valid DOT medical card, clean driving record, and ability to work in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience performing irrigation maintenance and installation in a commercial or residential environment, or similar experience in plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical fields
- Basic knowledge of construction plans and diagrams
- Must have a valid driving license, with a clean record, no major violation in the last 3 to 5 years
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical to obtain a DOT medical card
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to stand, squat, reach for long periods and lift minimum 50 lbs as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Possess irrigation certification(s), preferred
- Experience with servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting commercial/residential irrigation systems, preferred
- Knowledge of irrigation controllers, timers and sensors, preferred
