Job Summary
Irrigation Technician responsible for repairing and maintaining valves, tracing electrical components, installing and initializing clocks and timers, locating zones and valves, and performing pump repairs; Spring evaluations and start-up; Winterization and blow-out; Mid-season inspections; Gather and update historical data for each account regarding water sources, point of connection and main line location, service performed and parts installed. Monitors and maintains irrigation systems to ensure optimal operation, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with clients as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years commercial irrigation experience
- Valid Washington Driver License
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred
- Backflow Assembly Tester (BAT) License preferred
- Ability to identify system repairs and improvements
- Ability to troubleshoot and exhibit sound decision making skills
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Ability to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication with clients, co-workers and supervisor
- Ability to pull, push and lift up to 25 pounds
