Job Summary
Irrigation Technician responsible for installing new irrigation systems for commercial properties, including layout, trenching, pipe installation, valve assembly, and sprinkler head placement; troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges; read and interpret irrigation plans and specifications; adhere to codes and regulations; maintain records; communicate with the Irrigation Manager and team; operate and maintain company vehicles and irrigation installation equipment; follow safety procedures and company policies; based at the Tampa branch and supported by a collaborative team to ensure high-quality installations.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Irrigation Technician with at least 6 months of experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of irrigation system components, installation techniques, and best practices
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve installation issues
- Excellent ability to read and interpret irrigation plans and specifications
- Strong understanding of water management principles and efficient irrigation practices
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work outdoors in various weather conditions
