Job Summary
The CLS Irrigation Technician position in Avon, OH is a seasonal on-site role responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems, regulating moisture levels, diagnosing and repairing components, operating and maintaining related equipment, excavating for maintenance, and performing start-up and winterization procedures. Duties include programming/configuring timers, keeping records/work orders, and delivering excellent customer service. The role emphasizes safety and adherence to company procedures while offering industry-leading training and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age to work in the field.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate equipment as a Department of Transportation (DOT) certified driver for specific vehicles or equipment.
- Ability to complete required safety courses upon hire.
- Ability to complete Davey Career Development Program (CDP) books.
- Valid Driver’s License. Class B CDL valuable, but not required.
- Experience with computers or tablets.
