Job Summary
Mix and apply fertilizer per crop prescriptions, monitor growth rates, and adjust watering cycles using computerized systems. Maintain and repair the irrigation infrastructure, scout for pests while taking daily block weights, and assist with herbicide applications and greenhouse sanitation. Keep neat and accurate records of production and timelines. Work outdoors in all environmental conditions during an 8-hour shift, with weekend availability during the busy season starting July 20, 2026. Report to the Nursery Manager and collaborate directly with Growers and Nursery Workers.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Work, Outlook)
- Great organizational and record keeping skills
- Reliable transportation to get to the PRT site daily
- Interested in and able to work in all types of outdoor environmental conditions
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks throughout an 8-hour work shift
- Appropriate work attire
- A team-oriented personality with a positive attitude
- A desire to learn and contribute to forest regeneration
- Weekend work may be required, especially during our busy season
