Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve problems in the irrigation field while performing thorough wet checks to ensure system coverage. Install and maintain clocks, timers, rain sensors, pumps, valves, and manifolds, adjusting controller settings according to zone water requirements. Proficient in PVC pipe fittings, sprinkler heads, and rotors, you will supervise others performing projects and manage installations efficiently. This full-time role offers weekly pay, a $2,500 sign-on bonus, and an annual salary of $50,000–$60,000 for a career-minded individual with at least one year of foreman experience. Greenstar Landscaping & Irrigation Co. has served South Florida for over 40 years.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year experience as an irrigation foreman
- Minimum 3 years experience as an irrigation technician
- Physically fit to perform the demanding work of the outdoor irrigation trade
- Must be able to speak and interact with our clients and employees professionally
- Experienced in the inner workings of an irrigation system, such as pumps, timers, valves, sprinkler heads, and all other accompanying components
