Job Summary
Irrigation Sales Professional responsible for performing client site visits to identify irrigation needs, developing irrigation recommendations and repair or upgrade opportunities, generating sales opportunities through assessments and consultations, educating customers on irrigation systems and water management, preparing proposals and service options, coordinating with operations for project scheduling, and maintaining accurate customer records. The role emphasizes building relationships, supporting business growth through irrigation service recommendations and project sales, and providing exceptional customer service while representing Moon Valley Nurseries. Knowledge of irrigation products/services, and the ability to work with HubSpot or similar platforms are required, with bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience with irrigation systems, irrigation clocks, water management, landscaping, or related field experience
- Previous sales or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to identify irrigation issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Comfortable using digital tools such as HubSpot, mobile applications, and similar platforms
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred
- Must pass MVR, DOT, QAL, and drug screening requirements
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience required
