Job Summary
Assist with assembling, inspecting, cleaning, and replacing irrigation pump and motor equipment while performing basic troubleshooting on pumps, valves, and fittings. Conduct preventive maintenance such as oiling motors and greasing pumps, and support new water well development including excavation and PVC installation. Operate basic heavy equipment like forklifts and service trucks, and perform general farm maintenance tasks including cleaning, painting, minor irrigation fixes, and occasional welding. Keep the irrigation shop clean and stocked, ensuring all safety protocols and PPE are followed during operations. Requires a valid driver's license, Class A license preferred, and 1-2 years of agricultural farm equipment experience.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in electrical, construction, or commercial environments
- Valid state driver's license
- The ability to drive a truck and trailer
- The ability to properly secure a load
- Experience using Global Positioning System (GPS)
- Comprehension and practice of farm safety, electrical safety, and trench safety
- 1-2 years working with Agricultural Farm Equipment
- 1 year working experience with wonderful farming operations (Irrigation Department)
- 1 year working experience with wonderful farming operations (Irrigation Department)
Desired Qualifications
- Class A License
