Job Summary
Irrigation Lead to oversee installation of residential irrigation systems on high-end Vancouver-area landscape projects. Lead and mentor a small team, plan and coordinate installations, review project plans, troubleshoot issues during installation and commissioning, and ensure compliance with industry best practices and Fossil’s quality standards. Collaborate with Project Managers, coordinate materials and equipment, schedule work, and communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders to support project success.
Required Qualifications
- Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience installing, repairing, and troubleshooting residential irrigation systems.
- Strong knowledge of irrigation components, controllers, valves, wiring, and system design principles.
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to read and interpret landscape and irrigation plans.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Experience leading or mentoring team members.
- Stable work history demonstrating reliability and commitment to previous employers.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and comfort driving company vehicles.
- Certified Irrigation Technician Level 1 and 2.
- Experience working on high-end residential landscape projects.
- Knowledge of smart irrigation technologies and water conservation practices.
- Experience with system audits, upgrades, and renovations.
- Irrigation Design certification through IIABC.
