Job Summary
Conduct high-quality repair and maintenance on client irrigation systems, troubleshooting water and pressure problems while replacing heads, nozzles, and valves. Safely operate all equipment to perform assigned tasks, upsell clients on system enhancements, and identify native turf-grass, insects, and diseases. Maintain proper landscape health with a focus on water conservation and attention to detail. Requires ability to perform strenuous manual work in all weather conditions, lift up to 50 pounds, and possess a valid driver's license. Must complete required trainings for certifications and licenses.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform strenuous manual work in all weather conditions
- A sense of independence and the ability to 'think on your feet'
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing residential outdoor irrigation systems, ensuring proper landscape health, while focusing on water conservation
- Ability to identify native and introduced turf-grass, as well as common insects and diseases
- Practical knowledge of basic hand tools, valves, compressors, clocks/timers, and backflows
- Attention to detail is critical to maintain high quality of care
- Willingness to complete required trainings to obtain needed certifications & licenses
- Desire to work outdoors
- Valid Driver's license to operate service-line vehicles
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.
- While performing the duties of the job, the employee is subject to frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with soldering is helpful
