Job Summary
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix irrigation systems while installing, repairing, and replacing valves, pumps, timers, solenoids, and controllers. Oversee all irrigation projects by delegating tasks to crew members, ensuring they complete work efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations. Inspect properties to generate reports on service needs, create estimates for new work, and sell irrigation services. Manage resources and coordinate job activities to maintain and repair systems across South Florida landscapes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Relevant experience
- References
- Ability to lift 50 LBS regularly
- Pass criminal background checks
- Pass pre-employment drug screens
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an irrigation technician
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an irrigation foreman
- Minimum 5 years of industry-related (agricultural) experience
- English language ability
- Working knowledge of South Florida landscaping
- Knowledge of water needs of plant material
- Ability to recognize stressed landscapes as a result of water deficiencies
- Superb communication skills
- Professional presentation
