Job Summary
Operate landscaping equipment and company vehicles to transport materials and crew to job sites while safely installing irrigation components like pipe, joints, and heads. Dig trenches, backfill drainage and irrigation lines, and haul topsoil, gravel, and sod using hand tools and machinery. Prepare and clean job sites, maintain equipment through regular checks, and adhere to all safety protocols and PPE requirements. Provide professional customer service and collaborate with the team to complete installation projects across commercial, private, and public properties.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of related experience as a plumber's helper, general construction laborer, pipe layer, or related field
- To be at least 18 years old and be legally authorized to work in the United States
- To perform physically demanding tasks in the Florida heat
- To be dependable and able to work well in a team
- To pass a background check
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a plus
- Proven experience in landscaping or ground maintenance is preferred
- Familiarity with operating landscaping equipment and tools
- Strong knowledge of safety practices and procedures related to landscaping and driving
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed
- Possess a valid driver's license (of at least 3 years) and a clean driving record
- Be able to pass a drug test
