Job Summary
Assist with irrigation installation and construction projects by performing physical labor such as digging, trenching, backfilling, and material handling. Support layout of irrigation lines according to plans, connect and test zones for proper coverage, and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner. Load, unload, and transport tools and equipment while safely operating hand tools, power tools, and machinery under supervision. Follow all safety procedures, report discrepancies to leadership, and maintain a positive attitude with clients and crew members. Perform preventative system checks and jobsite restoration after installation activities.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to learn irrigation installation techniques and follow instructions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or extended shifts as project demands require
- Reliable transportation
- Valid Florida Driver's License and the ability to pass an MVR check
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in irrigation installation, landscaping, or outdoor construction
- Familiarity with PVC pipe cutting, gluing, and basic irrigation components
- Basic understanding of irrigation layouts or construction drawings
- Experience with trenchers or other light construction equipment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills
- Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Interest in advancing into irrigation technician, crew leader, or foreman roles
- 2 Wire troubleshooting
