Job Summary
Ironworker (Structural) Foreman responsible for supervising structural ironwork crews, coordinating tool/equipment inventory, ensuring safety and adherence to codes (OSHA), reviewing JHAs, reallocating resources to meet project timelines, and promoting a strong safety culture. Requires extensive structural iron repair/maintenance knowledge, ability to read structural drawings, NCCER certification or Craft Skills Test proficiency, and compliance with Matrix Service safety and training programs. Full-time role in Republic, WA with a stated pay rate of $39.00 per hour and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of four (4) years or more of refinery maintenance/turnaround/or construction experience
- Knowledge of structural iron repair, maintenance, and preventative maintenance methods, practices, and procedures
- Must know how to read and interpret structural drawings
- Must be able to pass the Craft Skills Test at or above 70% or complete the NCCER certification for your craft
- Must have a good understanding of Matrix Service policies and procedures
- Completed the Matrix Service Safety training, Process Safety Management training, S.T.A.R.T. Class and Client / Site specific training
- To obtain and maintain an active status within the required drug testing program
- Subject to random drug screenings
- Must be able to complete the Matrix Service Safety training and Client / Site specific training
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active status within the DISA drug testing program
- Physical requirements including lifting up to 50lbs and exposure to outdoor elements
- Washington state pay disclosure requirement with stated hourly rate
