Job Summary
Ironworker (Structural) Foreman leading and supervising structural crews, coordinating tool/equipment inventory, reviewing project status, and reallocating resources to meet deadlines. Ensures safety with adherence to OSHA standards, conducts and reviews JHAs, promotes a strong safety culture, and ensures high-quality workmanship. Requires experience reading structural drawings, NCCER certification or ability to pass the Craft Skills Test, and compliance with Matrix Service safety and site-specific training; must be able to work outdoors in varying conditions and pass drug testing.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of four (4) years or more of refinery maintenance/turnaround/or construction experience
- Knowledge of structural iron repair, maintenance, and preventative maintenance methods, practices, and procedures
- Must know how to read and interpret structural drawings
- Must be able to pass the Craft Skills Test at or above 70% or complete the NCCER certification for your craft
- Must have a good understanding of Matrix Service policies and procedures
- Completed the Matrix Service Safety training, Process Safety Management training, S.T.A.R.T. Class and Client / Site specific training
- To obtain and maintain an active status within the required drug testing program
- Subject to random drug screenings
- Must be able to complete the Matrix Service Safety training and Client / Site specific training
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active status within the DISA drug testing program
- Physical Requirements: standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50lbs, PPE requirements
