Job Summary
Read blueprints and follow instructions to establish and install steel or iron frames for buildings and structures. Unload and stack prefabricated materials for crane lifting, then signal operators to position structural iron and steel. Use shears, torches, and welding equipment to cut, bend, and weld components, while aligning them vertically and horizontally with tag lines, plumb bobs, and lasers. Connect materials with bolts or welds and install metal decking. Must lift 75 pounds and pass drug testing. Stinger specializes in the Southwestern Bridge and Highway market, fabricating in Coolidge, Arizona, and erecting work across Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, and Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an apprenticeship or experience in the field
- Ability to pass per-employment drug-test
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds
- Pre-employment physical and drug testing
