Job Summary
Assist in installing, maintaining, and operating instruments and measuring devices for functional systems. Load, transport, and unload materials, tools, and equipment for experienced craft workers while cleaning work areas and restocking supplies. Perform tasks from scaffolding, ladders, or other structures, including overhead work at heights and beneath structures. Detect and respond to dangerous conditions, perform minor maintenance on site tools and equipment, and communicate directions from supervisors. Complete safety and general job training, observe safety and quality processes, and stand for long periods while lifting up to fifty pounds. Significant travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Skilled in both written and verbal communication
- Must be able to effectively use all required PPE equipment
- Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds
- Must be able to safely access all areas of property, buildings, structures, wharves, rooftops and other elevated positions, as well as, confined spaces
- Must be able to safely operate all involved equipment and tools
- Must be capable of standing for long periods of time
- Must be capable of bending consistently
- Must be capable of working in confined spaces with limited access
- Must be capable of working on ladders
- Must be capable of working in personnel lifts
- Must be capable of working in workboats
- Must be capable of working in awkward body positions
- Significant travel may be required
