Job Summary
Process incoming iron start to finish, accepting equipment from delivery, recertifying it, loading it for delivery, completing associate paperwork, performing quality checks, and managing inventory without supervision. Clean, strip, and inspect all required flow control components, then prepare them for Gauging, Ultra Sonic, and MPI inspections. Disassemble flow control products per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and provide proper care and maintenance of all shop tools, equipment, and work area while advocating an exemplary safety culture. This entry-level role offers hands-on training and mentorship from senior technicians to build a foundation for a long-term career in oil and gas operations.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate hand tools such as pneumatic tooling
- Possess a sound Mechanical Aptitude
- Demonstrate consistency, accountability, reliability, and solid work ethic
- Three to six months' related experience and/or training in the oil and gas field
- Working knowledge of oil and gas equipment
- Have a clean driving record, which generally means: No more than (2) moving violations within the last 12 months
- No more than three (3) moving violations in the past three (3) years
- Must be able to wear protective footwear and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the department
