Job Summary
Teach three 90-minute Irish language classes focusing on vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and conversation for adult beginners online via Zoom and in person at the Irish Arts Center in Hell's Kitchen. Plan curriculum for Fall 2026 through Spring 2027 terms, communicate with students and staff to ensure program success, and share class resources and recordings. Earn $65–75 hourly based on experience for a 4.5-hour weekly commitment. Requires US work authorization and knowledge of the NYC Irish language community.
Required Qualifications
- US work authorization
- 3 plus years of experience teaching the Irish Language, preferably to adult learners
- Accreditation in Irish Language Instruction
- Experience teaching online via the Zoom Platform
- Knowledge of the Irish language community in New York City
