Job Summary
Review human subject research submissions for completeness and compliance with institutional, state, and federal policies. Interpret applicable regulations to assess submissions and draft documentation for operational requests such as NCI CIRB reliance. Collaborate with senior staff to develop training materials, evaluate incoming queries, and advise the research community on IRB matters. Manage events, update the website, and assist in testing submission processes. This hybrid role requires onsite availability as needed to support the department.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 1year related experience
- This is a hybrid work model with the understanding that the IRB Administrator will be available and onsite as required to support the department
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with research ethics and methods
- Experience in human subjects research compliance
- Relevant professional certification (e.g., CIP)
