Job Summary
Manage crew safety and organize work functions for rope access activities across Alberta and British Columbia project sites. Supervise personnel performing technical services at heights while ensuring strict compliance with IRATA standards and regulations. Plan site operations and oversee a broad range of industrial services executed while suspended from ropes. Requires fluent English, current IRATA Level 3 certification, two years of experience, and first aid certification. Permanent full-time position with an hourly wage of $51.50 to $57.62 CDN, including overtime and evening/night premiums.
Required Qualifications
- IRATA Level 3 Certification
- Thorough understanding of applicable rope access applications
- Comprehensive knowledge of theory, equipment and rigging
- Knowledge of maneuvers, climbing and hauling
- Knowledge of advanced rescue techniques
- Minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated experience as an IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician
- Experience working within a variety of industrial environments
- Current first aid certification
- Physical and psychological fitness
- Ability to successfully submit to drug and alcohol testing on a random schedule
- Fluent English skills (written and spoken)
Desired Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
