Job Summary
Perform welding tasks using SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW processes in flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions. Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and fitting components, then set up and calibrate equipment. Read technical drawings and blueprints to interpret welding symbols, executing procedures that meet approved specifications. Inspect completed welds and conduct non-destructive testing including visual, dye penetrant, and magnetic particle checks to ensure compliance. Follow all safety protocols and CWB standards while maintaining a clean work environment. This 6-day on, 1-day off rotation includes day and night 12-hour shifts starting August 10, 2026, with flights and camp provided.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman Welder Certification
- CWB-SMAW All positions Certification
- IRATA Level 1 Certificate
- Projects 6 days on / 1 day off rotation
- Day and Night shifts (12-hour shifts)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
