Job Summary
Create and maintain Retirement Account Products and Share Certificates while ensuring full compliance with IRA regulations. Develop updated procedures for IRA and HSA products, establish new deposit plans, and process all transactions including transfers, distributions, rollovers, and closures. Oversee third-party vendor platform management, review complex transactional activities, and report assets to government systems such as Social Security and Medicaid. Educate staff and members on investment rates and product options, manage Required Minimum Distributions, and handle dividend rate changes. Maintain certification through continuing education and ensure all departmental policies and records retention requirements are met.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certified IRA Professional Designation
- 3 years' experience working directly with IRA and investment products
- Experience working in a credit union
