Job Summary
Subject matter expert for IRA/HSA accounts, TIN maintenance, and escheatment, delivering accurate guidance and professional, compliant service to members, branches, and internal departments. Responds to inquiries from members and internal staff; verifies and processes IRA/HSA applications, transaction requests, and death claims with beneficiaries and legal representatives; conducts quality assurance reviews on IRA and HSA transactions; ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements; supports seasonal tasks such as escheatment processing and tax reporting under Operations Team Lead guidance; reviews internal procedures and frontline staff processes for IRA/HSA accounts, tax reporting, escheatment, and TIN maintenance; performs additional delegated tasks with high accuracy and timely execution; requires strong attention to detail, empathy, professionalism, confidentiality, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and credit union systems.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of experience in financial services or credit union operations
- Experience working directly with members
- Experience with IRA/HSA accounts
- Experience with W-9s, W8-BEN, IRA/HSA forms, and annual tax statements
