IRA/CD Operations Specialist II - Part Time Second Shift (4PM - 8PM)

Job Summary
Research and clear CD and IRA entries, validate IRS and state-specific documentation for accurate reporting, and process complex distributions using Raft. Review and coordinate support for compliance exceptions, including IRS audit letters, while collaborating with Legal, Tax, and Business Banking on process enhancements. Perform risk-based transactions such as penalty exceptions and death payouts, and handle miscellaneous maintenance functions like account adjustments and name removals. Requires three years of related experience, a bachelor's degree preferred, and strong knowledge of IRS regulations and internal banking systems. Part-time second shift (4PM-8PM) in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) years related experience required
- preferably in Retail or Operations
- Knowledge of retail policies, procedures and products
- Demonstrated ability to resolve operational issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong PC knowledge to include Word & Excel
- a working knowledge of the internal banking center systems, such as Raft, ACE, Mobius, IHUB, Branch Capture
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure
- Need to have flexibility in scheduling
- Must be able to work in a team environment with the ability to interact well, and in a positive manner, with co-workers and management
- Must be available for weekend shifts

Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Knowledge of frontier system is a plus
