Job Summary
Produces angiography studies under clinical direction, obtaining history, reviewing physician reports, scrubbing for procedures, administering contrast, monitoring vital signs, and reviewing film for acceptable results. Applies radiation safety guidelines, provides patient comfort and information, and operates angiography equipment, film processors, and computers. Recovers and releases patients while ensuring sterile technique and safety. Requires accredited Radiology Technology graduation, current RT(R) registration, and BCLS certification. Full-time day shift onsite at Nash UNC Health Care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school or program of Radiology Technology
- RT(R): Current registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Current BCLS certification
