Job Summary
Circulate, scrub, and monitor advanced IR imaging systems while ensuring proper patient identification, order verification, and exam preparation. Operate diagnostic equipment to produce quality images, maintain radiation safety guidelines, and follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, and charging. Provide patient education, address concerns, and report equipment failures. Maintain up-to-date licensure, ARRT credentials, and relevant certifications. Full-time 40-hour schedule includes four weekday 10-hour shifts with call responsibilities and shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends. Lutheran Hospital offers state-of-the-art care at its Clear Crossing campus in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate on an AMA-approved radiologic technology program
- Current ARRT (R) credential
- Demonstrated knowledge of cross-sectional and vascular anatomy
- Skill in recognition of normal and abnormal variants
- Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Current ACLS certification
- Current RTRCV certification
- Current VIR certification
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a staff technologist
- At least one (1) year of experience in vascular/interventional imaging
- Five years of imaging experience
- Two years of leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
