Job Summary
Join Our Interventional Radiology Team as an IR Technologist or Lead. Maintain up-to-date licensure and certifications, provide procedural assistance as circulating/scrub/monitoring tech, operate IR imaging systems, ensure patient safety and identification, and educate patients. Adhere to radiation safety guidelines, deploy interventional and diagnostic supplies, follow coding and billing guidelines, obtain necessary consents, and support a collaborative care team. Lead qualifications include five years of imaging experience and two years of leadership experience, with a potential path to a Lead role; position offers shift differentials and a four 10-hour weekday shift schedule with call.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate on an AMA-approved radiologic technology program
- Current ARRT (R) credential
- Basic Life Support certification (BLS)
- Current ACLS certification or the ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire
- Current RTRCV certification or the ability to obtain
- Current VIR certification or the ability to obtain within twenty-four (24) months of hire
- Previous experience as a staff technologist, preferred
- At least one (1) year of experience in vascular/interventional imaging, preferred
