Job Summary
Circulate, scrub, and monitor advanced IR imaging systems while ensuring proper patient identification, order verification, and exam preparation. Operate equipment and information systems to produce quality images, strictly adhering to radiation safety guidelines and medical necessity protocols. Manage invasive supplies, maintain quality control programs, and provide patient education to address concerns and ensure comfort. Maintain up-to-date licensure, ARRT credentials, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Full-time 40-hour schedule includes four weekday 10-hour shifts with call responsibilities and shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends. Lutheran Hospital offers a state-of-the-art care site in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, supporting cutting-edge diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate on an AMA-approved radiologic technology program
- Current ARRT (R) credential
- Demonstrated knowledge of cross-sectional and vascular anatomy and skill in recognition of normal and abnormal variants
- Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Current ACLS certification or the ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire
- Current RTRCV certification or the ability to obtain
- Current VIR certification or the ability to obtain within twenty-four (24) months of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a staff technologist
- At least one (1) year of experience in vascular/interventional imaging
- Five years of imaging experience
- Two years of leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
