Job Summary
Direct patient scheduling, triage, and appointment coordination for physicians and midlevel providers. Greet visitors, escort patients to exam rooms, and manage administrative tasks including prior authorizations, supply ordering, and EMR documentation. Perform clinical duties such as obtaining vitals, administering injections, monitoring glucose, and assisting with procedures like vasectomies and cystoscopies. Prepare sterile fields, educate patients on procedures, and maintain room cleanliness and equipment checks. Document all nursing interventions, adverse reactions, and medication events in the EMR while ensuring OSHA compliance. Work full-time with local travel opportunities within the practice network.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN Program
- Current MA State License
- Current CPR certification
- Thorough knowledge in computer information systems
- Reasoning Ability
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Desired Qualifications
- At least one (1) year of medical/surgical experience
