Job Summary
Accurately perform prescription data entry and build and maintain accurate medication profiles and MARs for IPU patients. Understand and apply IPU model variations and profiling requirements for hospice partners while reviewing and processing faxed medication orders independently. Contact hospices to obtain or clarify prescription information and document interactions, maintaining accurate call log documentation for all interactions. Coordinate with local pharmacies on claim adjudication for emergency needs. Requires current PA or TN Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license in good standing, 2+ years of pharmacy technician data entry experience, and strong understanding of pharmacy benefit design. Competitive pay of $21.50/HR with shift differential and comprehensive benefits including 401k match.
Required Qualifications
- Current PA or TN Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license in good standing
- 2+ years of pharmacy technician data entry experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
