IPU Production Engineering Specialist

Job Summary
Lead optimization of the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in line with quality, efficiency, costs and safety goals. Define working phase sequence for new production processes to achieve targeted product cost and equipment investment. Identify and implement improvement opportunities, manage timeframes, quality and cost requirements, approve internal/external process designs, and support start-up with action plans and training. Evaluate new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction; lead testing activities, establish approval criteria, and select external providers. Requires a degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Production Engineering and ~2 years in manufacturing; experience with lean manufacturing, ERP systems, and cross-functional collaboration; proficient in English and Italian.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Production Engineering
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and production process optimization
- Skilled in using ERP systems and production planning tools
- Hands-on problem-solving
- Collaborative team player, adaptable to change, cross-functional environments
- Ability to communicate in English and Italian
