Job Summary
Responsible for performing welding functions according to job specifications, selecting equipment, planning layouts, and working closely with supervision and QA/QC. The role requires proficiency in various welding processes including GMAW / FCAW 6G and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents. Candidates must have prior experience in a fabrication environment, mathematical skills, and be willing to work overtime and at heights while performing physically demanding tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Prior related experience in a fabrication environment
- Mathematical skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
- Willingness to work frequent overtime
- Ability to work at elevated heights
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Certified in GMAW / FCAW 6G
- Certified in GTAW 2G & 5G or 6G
- Certified in SMAW 2G 3G or 6G
- Certified in SAW 1G – Flat
