Job Summary
Supervises daily activities of an operational unit, manages processes and employees, ensures adherence to workflow policies and procedures, resolves routine operational issues, and coordinates across departments (data validation, design, design quality) to achieve targeted operating results. Develops training plans, promotes process unity and conformity, and collaborates to ensure effective communication, processes, and training. Requires a BS degree and 2+ years of supervisory experience, plus strong organizational, communication, process management, and people-management skills to promote operational efficiency. Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to work independently while leading a team, with capability in verbal and written communication, presenting to groups, and analytic problem solving.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree
- Equivalent of 2+ years supervisory experience of technical personnel required
- Prior experience in process or operations management preferred
- Prior experience in medical device industry preferred
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role preferred
- Prior experience with managing engineering personnel preferred
- Prior experience with technical applications of software
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications
