IPS Employment Specialist

IPS Employment Specialist to build partnerships with employers, identify a sustained pipeline of job opportunities, and deliver Individual Placement Support with person-centred guidance. You’ll manage a caseload of up to 25 clients with substance use support needs, provide career coaching, CV writing, and interview techniques, connect clients with local and national employers, attend job fairs, and work across multiple sites to help clients move into sustainable paid employment as part of their recovery journey. Collaborative role within the North Yorkshire Horizons team, promoting holistic recovery through employment and fostering relationships with employers to create opportunities. A valid driving licence is beneficial for travel across Scarborough and surrounding areas, with IT equipment and a mobile phone provided for work. Skills include excellent communication, empathy, proactive attitude, flexibility, and a passion for making a difference in people’s lives.
