Job Summary
The IPIM Professional supports DePuy Synthes’ intellectual property and innovation management by coordinating IP intake/review, tracking IP matters and deadlines, maintaining IP management systems, handling renewals and payments, preparing IP portfolio reports, coordinating patent/trademark activities, and assisting with IP-related workflows. Collaborates with attorneys, paralegals, and cross-functional teams (legal, R&D, business partners) to ensure procedures, policies, and compliance are followed, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and applying company policies. The role offers exposure to medical technologies, requires strong organization, and involves cross-functional collaboration and detailed documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 6–8 years of relevant professional experience in legal operations, intellectual property, or a regulated business environment
- Travel: Up to 10%, primarily domestic
- English required
