Job Summary
IP REGISTERED NURSE - OB provides family-centered nursing care across antepartum, labor, postpartum, and maternal-newborn couplets, including perinatal testing, fetal monitoring interpretation, and neonatal resuscitation in the delivery room. The role supervises nursing assistants and unit secretary, ensures real-time documentation in the EHR, participates in follow-up NB visits and preadmission calls, and works within a multidisciplinary team. Requires an associate's degree in nursing (BSN preferred) and Indiana RN licensure; night shift with weekend, on-call, and holiday rotations; $5,000 sign-on bonus. Emphasis on patient/family education, safety, and adherence to protocols; capable of leading triage duties when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum associate's degree in nursing
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Indiana
- Up-to-date with Neonatal Resuscitation certification
- Up-to-date on mock codes
- Up-to-date with fetal monitoring seminars
