IP Operations Manager

Job Summary
Lead the formulation and execution of Geely UK's IP strategy in accordance with Geely Holding Group's IP policies, systems and management protocols, and oversee the establishment and full implementation of corporate IP management systems, confidentiality protocols and IP commercial operation mechanisms. Responsible for full lifecycle management, maintenance and protection of the company’s IP assets (including automotive technology patents, software copyrights and original technical materials), overseeing IP licensing, compliance and risk management, and standardising IP licensing strategies and operational standards. Develop unified IP management framework, draft and review IP clauses for technical cooperation agreements, monitor external IP infringement activities, support dispute resolution, and ensure compliant monetisation across global markets. Hybrid working option between base location (Ansty/Coventry) and home. Requires 3-5 years of IP management or patent law experience and a Bachelor’s degree or above in a related field; familiarity with UK IP law and patent qualifications advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Law, Intellectual Property Engineering, Science, Technology, Business, or a related discipline or patent lawqualification
- Minimum of 3-5 years in intellectual property management or patent law
