Job Summary
Conduct legal research and analysis for intellectual property cases, preparing and filing documents with the USPTO and other agencies. Draft legal opinions, memoranda, and related IP matter documents while coordinating with clients, external counsel, and internal teams to gather necessary information. Stay updated on changes in IP laws and regulations. Requires 3-5+ years of IP paralegal experience, ABA certification, and proficiency in legal software. Compensation is $40-$50/hour. Start in early April.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on intellectual property
- Paralegal certification from an ABA accredited institution
- Strong knowledge of litigation and IP procedures and regulations
- Proficient in legal research, document drafting, and case management
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment
- Proficiency in legal software and databases
