Job Summary
Prepare, draft, and format legal documents, correspondence, and materials while proofreading for accuracy. Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, court dates, depositions, hearings, and travel arrangements. Assist with client intake, file management, document organization, and billing tasks. Maintain confidentiality and collaborate with attorneys and other Legal Assistants in a fast-paced environment. Requires 1+ year of administrative legal experience, strong technical skills, and excellent organizational abilities. Flexible hybrid work option with paid parking for in-office days.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of administrative experience in a legal environment
- Knowledge of legal terminology, legal documents, court procedures, docketing, and electronic filing
- Strong technical skills, including Microsoft Office and document management systems
- Excellent proofreading, organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information
